PERFORMANCE PONTIAC G8 ORSSOM OTR COLD AIR INTAKE CAI ALLOYTEC LY7 3.6l V6

Our OTR cold air intake provides a range of benefits as listed below:

  • Increases power & torque
  • Re-enforced ribbing under top cover
  • Increases air flow to your engine
  • Cooler air intake temperatures
  • Excellent throttle response
  • Improvement to your fuel economy
  • Great induction sound
  • OEM style for that stealth under-bonnet appearance

The OTR can be fitted using simple hand tools in around 45mins & the kit comes with the K&N filter and all parts required for fitment. This specially designed kit is simple for any DIY enthusiast to install and requires no drilling of the vehicle€™'s bodywork or even the kit itself.

We have seen gains in standard vehicles of 7rwkw depending on supporting modifications. Please note that while a tune is not mandatory for this product, it is recommended in order to achieve perfect drivability and even greater power gains.

The factory intake is very limiting, as the engine must draw in air through the 90 degrees curved intake pipe, turbulence generating air box and restrictive paper panel filter. The intake is designed in such a way in order to limit noise but unfortunately lowers the volumetric efficiency of the engine hence robbing it of power. Not only will this OTR Cold Air Intake kit result in an instantaneous power increase, but it will also supplement and bring the best out of the future modification.

There is:

  • No tilting back of radiators involved
  • No removing bumper bars or grilles to install CAI or clean filter
  • No cutting of any body panels
  • No cutting or lengthening of any electrical harnesses

Kit Contains:

  • Lower Injected filter box assembly
  • Top Injected filter cover
  • 3 x speed clips and screws
  • 2 x Air Flow Meter screws
  • Air Flow meter seal
  • 4 x M6 cover bolts / nylon washes / lock washers
  • K&N air filter (Re-usable / washable at every service)
  • 1 x Rubber bellow
  • 1 x Hose clamp
  • Easy to follow fitting instructions (Installation time: approx. 45 minutes)

Intake's must be used with Factory Air Flow Meter

Porsche Macan to debut at Los Angeles – gets V6 turbo petrol

Sat, 28 Sep 2013

The dealer presentation for the new Porsche Macan The Porsche Macan – Porsche’s take on a smaller version of the Cayenne to tap in to the more compact SUV market – will arrive at the Los Angeles Auto Show in November and get V6 turbo power. Jalopnik has managed to get photos of a dealer presentation of the Porsche Macan which confirms its arrival at Los Angeles and also gives us some detail of what will power the new smaller Porsche SUV. We’re not entirley sure the photo Porsche used in the presentation is the actual Macan (Jalopnik think Porsche has used a render by Auti Bild to muddy the waters for their dealers – just in case the presentation leaks) but it does seem clear that Porsche, at l;east initially, aims to provide the Macan with decent levels of Porsche power.
